Today was really brilliant. Once our principal, Mr Low, got on stage, the whole school started clapping and shouting for a half or full day off from school. Oh yeah, my brother got 7 points in his O Levels. That was really great. Finally he started talking. His first point was to thank the teachers and students for putting in so much effort for the O Levels and helping the school reach an average of 10.5 points. He then proceeded to dismiss us at 1.05 and, for good measure, on the 28th of January, he is giving us a full day off! What a thoughtful man!

Once we got back and struggled through Mother Tongue, we got to our favourite part of the day- English. Mr Maran taught us about IQ (intelligence quotient) and EQ(emotional quotient). For example, another famous quote from him. "What is the point of being smart when you behave like monkeys?". I pondered for a while and got to an answer for my question, ' What would I prefer to have? EQ or IQ?'' I chose EQ as EQ is more important. When people look at you, the dont look at your intelligence but at your behaviour and character. I have to tell you this. When he asked us our names and finally got to Prince, once he heard his name, he started laughing hysterically. He said that he had heard of strange names but not Prince. From then on, he started calling him 'royalty'.

After that was Geography. Our teacher was Ms.Ria, who had just came from India. Her favourite job was to shout at us until she felt content. Nonetheless, it went in one ear and came out the other as we knew that our CA1 would be important in gauging how well we would do for the final year exam. We were all geared up by Math as it was the last period and we thought we could go back at 1.05.However, Mr Pang had to hold us back. After school, I went for cricket training where our coach made us run 4.5km! After that, I went home and just practised my bowling. Over and over again.........
